Tag Along Tour – Holbrook Paddock Eggs

This class or activity is only for enrolled financial members of U3A Wagga Wagga. To join, follow the instruction in this link.

U3A car-pooling trips to various places of interest.

Leaving Wagga at 9am, we will carpool and Tag Along to Holbrook, arriving by approx. 10am, with time to enjoy a cuppa and a stretch. Just before 11am, we will meet with our host, Sam Pincott, at his Packing Shed and Shop in Albury Street.
Sam and his wife, Prue, along with the assistance of their four daughters, operate this family-owned business.
During the tour, we will hear all about this amazing venture and why they chose to become “chook farmers”. We will witness first-hand how they grade and pack their eggs.
Sam has invited us to then Tag Along behind him for 4 kilometres out of town to Bellevue, their farm, where all the chooks reside, roaming freely in the paddocks.
At the conclusion of the tour, we will make our way back into town. What is left of the afternoon is yours to enjoy.
Eating places, shops, tourist attractions – whatever takes your fancy before the drive home.
After enrolment, carpooling will be arranged, and a more detailed programme will be supplied

This course will be presented by Wayne Maybury on Saturday 24 May 9am-5pm.
