This course is designed for beginners. You will experiment with watercolour techniques and discover if this is the medium for you. If you have enjoyed June’s watercolour class previously, please note we will be following the same route. You are very welcome to return BUT you will be expected to try out all the simple activities once again…..as well as contributing to the class now that you have some expertise!!! It should be a great collaborative time. A range of weekly follow up activities that should challenge everyone will be offered. These may include other mediums such as pen/paper/pencils/crayon. You might consider also enrolling in Painting for Pleasure to extend your self. It would be a great way to follow up on the class activities. And don’t forget the Winter Creative Challenge. You need to enrol in Painting for Pleasure and the Creative challenge separately if you wish to participate. A list of materials needed will be emailed on enrolment.
Please note for the classes on 20 May and 17 June an alternate venue will be notified.

Hooray!! We’re back!!! Following the success of last years Winter Creative Challenge, we will run again this year.
How does the challenge work! On the FIRST day of each month June, July and August the challenge will be issued via email. The topic will be fairly broad to inspire you to get creating in your favourite medium.
If you are a beginner in some area it may give you the inspiration need to get started. You can be as specific in interpreting the challenge or as broad as you wish. You can change mediums from month to month!! Don’t rule out those fun things you do with grandchildren like making Lego, box art or sandcastles. Part of the fun may be interpreting the challenge to fit your activity!
You will have the whole month to create in your own time. Please return your creation via email NO LATER THAN the last day of each month. All creations will be accepted without judgement as a photo/s attached to an email with a title and statement of the medium used, the size, plus one or two sentences of explanation.
Check out last years event on the U3A Wagga Wagga home page. On the top tab you will see the last drop down is Gallery. Open Gallery and you will find five challenges. We extended the time due to COVID restrictions. Fingers crossed that we only have 3 this year in June, July and August.
