U3A Wagga Wagga would like to acknowledge the Wiradjuri people who are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our organisation is located and where we conduct our business.
We also pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging of the Wiradjuri Nation and extend that respect to other Indigenous Australians.
U3A Wagga Wagga is committed to honouring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas and their rich contribution to society.
We acknowledge with gratitude that we share this land today, our sorrow for the costs of that sharing, and our hope that we can move to a place of justice and partnership with the traditional owners. May we walk gently on this land.
